Starting a new project often feels like standing before a blank canvas. With the development of mediTurn, it was essential to move beyond just writing code and focus on establishing clear project documentation from day one. Good documentation acts as the 'north star' for developers, ensuring the system's architecture and intent remain clear as the project scales.

Managing a complex scheduling system like mediTurn requires a delicate balance between flexibility and maintainability. As our appointment management needs grew, the core code started becoming brittle, with too many responsibilities crammed into a single service. To address this, we recently refactored the module by implementing the Factory and Observer patterns.

The Problem: Tightly Coupled
